Casual search
for an old book
turned hopeless
when the airplane ticket
quietly glided off the shelf…
***
(A piece of cold, creased,
covered with dust,
30lb, glossy paper
with coded numbers
and letters…
It brought back
the smell of the hazelnut coffee
mixed with the morning breeze,
white sand on the beach,
and warm raindrops
on summer afternoon.
It flashed back
the laughter,
and the despair
of the lost game of rummy.
It reminded
that sunrise is worth
getting up early on Sunday…
There is vanilla cream
in the fridge now,
and the coffee
doesn’t smell the same…
but… I love vanilla coffee!)
***
and after its final appearance,
without protest,
landed
in the trash…

If I were to live forever
So many times we wish for what we can’t have… but if we did have it, everything else would probably have a very different perspective…
If I were to live forever
Counting sunsets would be silly…
Would they all be beautiful…?
Or would they seem dull and dreary…?
Would the birds on their way back
From a very long, long trip,
Always sing the same old song,
As they did first time to me…?
Would each breath be filled with life…?
Would my dreams still rise with sun…?
Would I cherish every moment,
Knowing there was more to come…?
If I were to live forever,
If it was to be indeed,
Then the life would be the sentence,
Worse then death could ever be…

December
Whether it’s fourteenth or the twenty fifth,
I favor December just a little more.
It’s crispy air pinching nose and ears,
Reminds the winter is just at the door.
I walk on the beach on cold, frosty day,
When thoughts only keep me warmed up;
Thoughts of warm breeze, of sun’s bright ray
And hot chocolate steaming from the cup.
The lake has been calm like it wanted not
To disturb reflection of the winter sky,
And trees and mountains covered with snow,
And the eagle gliding with ease so high.
December brings time to say good bye
To the old year with all its good things.
Though I couldn’t have given life better try,
I look forward to what New Year will bring.

Purpose
Dusting off some old papers here...
It’s time to say thanks. Not because of history, but because “thank you” is the easiest way to express the gratitude and appreciation. I like to do that often. Blessings happen every day. Don’t have all the answers here, but whether it’s a lesson for me or someone’s smile, “thank you” just fits so well…
PURPOSE
How many search along the way…?
Among them all you would find me,
Hoping to find somewhere out there,
The truth that really lives within.
And shaking heads and asking why,
Can not bring comfort, as I see,
We may just live it to the end,
To learn – the purpose was to BE…
And feel the life in every breath,
And dance to our heart’s own beat,
And seize the moments every day,
And thank for everything they bring.

Untamed
Come to me at dusk,
When colors fade away,
Like summer memories
On cold November day.
Come with your gentle touch,
And soft words on your tongue.
The hidden flame inside,
Is burning far too long.
Then take me to the place,
Where the wild horses run,
Where the winds brush your hair,
And where dreams rise with sun.
Let us forget the world
And all that we don’t care.
Let us have this one night
With all that we can dare…
Our lips in warm exhale,
As bodies touch unwrapped,
The hearts beat in one tone,
Embraced by love tonight.
…
I send this wish to you,
With my untamed desire…
Don’t let me wait tonight,
Come now and feel the fire.

Forbidden
Maybe it was you,
Who came in unnoticed,
And sat across the room,
In silence so outspoken.
Maybe it was me,
Awaiting for so long,
The feeling of desire,
And love before not known.
Maybe it was the time,
When you kissed my finger tips.
Suddenly my world came down,
With one touch of your lips.
The feel of your embrace,
Brought ecstasy and fever,
That made me to believe,
This moment will end never.
And all the words unspoken,
Rushed through me instantly,
As promises to be broken,
Before the hearts would be.
That moment made us stronger,
But world gave us no time.
The world would wait no longer,
And tore your heart from mine.

Party All Night
Forgive me, but every once in a while a bit of sarcasm gets out… Have a feeling that some of us have been there…
Cheers!
PARTY ALL NIGHT
So what do you do
When the hair is not right,
When the hangover thrives
After partying all night…?
The headache is pounding,
The eyes are blood shot,
No mention the breath…
Friend… you’re pushing it far…
You have just two options,
(either way you are screwed)
You can call that you’re sick
And pretend it is flu,
Or show up as you are,
Don’t expect any praise…
Boss will figure you out
And there goes your raise…
So what do you do
When the hair is not right,
When the hangover thrives
After partying all night…?
I don’t know for sure
But next time, as one said:
“Pick the weekend night out
Or drink soda instead”.
;o)
